SEND Consultancy & Training ~ Tutoring ~ Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Screenings
I am a freelance SEND Consultant, qualified teacher, and tutor with 18+ years of experience across primary, secondary, and special education. I bridge the gap between what an EHCP says and what actually happens in the classroom, working independently to support young people, families, and schools. My work helps to bridge the gap between what an EHCP says and what actually happens in the classroom. I provide practical, hands-on support to transform SEND provision, reduce staff workload, and help pupils thrive.
What I Do

SEND Consultancy: Practical SEND support. Confident staff. Greater pupil independence. I work across your entire school community to implement Section F of EHCPs, design sensory circuits, and build sustainable strategies.

Tutoring: Bespoke 1:1 and group tutoring for students aged 4–16, delivered both in and out of school.l. Tailored lessons to suit the needs and abilities of your child. Lesson are child centred and help your child to build confidence and resilience.

Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Screening with Talamo: I work in collaboration with the British Dyslexia Approved screening company, Talamo. I facilitate the screening, deliver a detailed report and how best to support your child moving forward.

Drawing and Talking Therapy: Certified Drawing and Talking therapy to support children's mental health, available both in and out of school. This non intrusive therapy is a Tier 1 therapy Approach.

Find Your Path was founded in 2019, in an attempt to help bridge the gap for SEND students whilst also focusing on improving the mental health and well being of children and adults in schools and promoting inclusivity and help ALL children make progress and reach their potential.

TUTORING
As a qualified teacher, with 18 years’ experience in secondary, primary and specialist schools, my tutoring approach aims to build the confidence of young people, impart knowledge and motivate a desire for learning and investigating. I use a multi-disciplinary approach in my lessons, to ensure every child’s needs are tailored for and met. I am able to close gaps, build confidence and enable progress to be made.
I offer online or face to face lessons; groups or 1:1.
School based tutoring: I work as a freelance tutor in schools supporting students.
Flexi - Schooling: I teach many students who are accessing flexi schooling or who are unable to access any formal education.
Additionally, I offer Talking and Drawing therapy both in school and out of school.
SEND Consultancy
I bridge the gap between what an EHCP says and what actually happens in the classroom.
Practical SEND consultancy that turns EHCP provision into confident classroom practice — reducing staff workload while increasing pupil independence.
I work collaboratively with families, schools, county and of course primarily with the child.
Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Screenings
TALAMO have carefully chosen and designed tests to give a thorough understanding of key cognitive and academic skills. Some of them are composite tests, meaning they measure several related abilities, while others focus on specific skill areas. Together, they assess important aspects of learning and thinking, helping to build a clear picture of a student’s strengths as well as areas that may need further support that I am then able to provide strategies and advice on.
