Dyslexia Screening

 

A dyslexia screening test (or screener) is a detailed check that looks at the likelihood of dyslexia. It does not provide a formal diagnosis, however this screener helps identify whether a learner may be at risk of dyslexia and flags up potential concerns and how he can be addressed and supported both in the classroom and at home and is fuller back by the British Dyslexia Association.

​Dyscalculia Screening

A screening is a digital, evidence-based assessment designed to flag specific indicators and traits of dyscalculia. It is not a formal medical diagnosis, but rather a highly accurate, targeted analysis of how your child processes numbers. The test runs as a series of short, game-like activities that children complete independently, taking roughly 45 minutes to finish.

The screener includes tests on:

• Symbolic Numbers & Quantity: Assessing their foundational understanding of what numbers mean and how quantities compare.

• Maths Vocabulary & Basic Calculation: Identifying specific gaps in mathematical terminology and core arithmetic processing.

• Applied Maths: Testing how well they can apply mathematical rules to real-world, situational problems.

• Cognitive Factors: Measuring fundamental cognitive pillars like working memory and processing speed, which are vital for tracking multi-step equations.
