Safeguarding – Lessons in my home Classroom
My main objective is to ensure the safety of your child when in my care. Please see below information regarding this.
- There are clear windows and doors in the room as well as appropriate seating and resources.
- In order to safeguard your child, parents have the option to stay in the lesson or wait on the drive in view of classroom.
- Emergency contact and health and safety information given by parent to me.
- I hold a clear, enhanced DBS which is on the live update system. I am trained in recent safeguarding legislation.
- The classroom is safe and meets all health and safety requirements.
- I have a robust safeguarding policy which can be shared.
- I am insured, a first aider and currently work in schools.
Safeguarding in your home or online
In order to safeguard your child, I ask that a parent, carer, or guardian remain in the next room with the adjacent doors open so that they can hear the lesson in progress for both face-to-face and online classes in order to protect your child and myself while in the lesson. I have a complete DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the live updating service, this document can be provided should parents, carers or guardians request it.
General Safeguarding Information
I will never communicate with your child via text, email, social media, or a mobile device. The parent or guardian who scheduled the lesson must handle all emails and other correspondence, and the correct contact details must be provided.
By consenting to the terms and conditions listed above you agree to start tuition services with me (Lisa Wilson).
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any additional queries concerning the aforementioned.
Cancellations
To make sure that your child gets the most out of the lessons, a lot of work and planning is put into them.
Whilst I hope that your child will be able to attend all of their lessons, there may be times when they are unable to do so. Please be sure to notify me at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, you may be required to pay for the lesson that was missed.
